Yalu Marnggithinyaraw meaning Nurturing Centre. In the past 50 years there have been dramatic cultural social and economical change taking place in Galiwin'ku and many features of traditional lifestyle has maintained. The Yalu Marngithinyaraw Nurturing Centre was set up to support families to become strong and healthy. This particular project grew out of a collaborative research and mainly involved Galiwin'ku residents with the help of Cooperative Research Centre in Darwin. The Indigenous Health Education research was started in 1997 and was completed in 1999.

Staff include Elaine Maypilma; Joanne Garngulkpuy; Dorothy Yungirrnga and Steve Djati.
